I’ve always been fascinated by understanding people and solving real problems, being as equally passionate about products and businesses—how they grow and succeed, led me to become a digital product designer.
Over the past 6 years, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to more than 40 projects—both as a freelancer and in full-time product design roles. Titles aside, what truly drives me is shaping product strategies and tackling challenges that bring about meaningful change. These are the aspects that keep me engaged and always curious.
I’ve selected a few key experiences that best highlight the variety and depth of my work. Each of these experiences has had a lasting impact on my approach to creating thoughtful, impactful products. I hope these quick highlights will give you a clearer picture of my skills and the value I bring to teams and companies.
2023 — NOW
In 2023, I joined UBIAI to lead a redesign of their no-code text annotation platform, which helps users train AI models without needing technical expertise. My focus was to re-shape the platform to allow it to start moving away from the traditional annotation based platform into the AI model training platform.
Giving users the ability to fine-tune the model performance by enabling them to clearly see areas of improvements and iterate on their annotations, this led to an overhaul to the annotation interface and more analytics tools at users' disposal.
I had also the opportunity to experiment with upselling features within the app to help boost the product's revenue stream.
Around the same time, I was asked to tackle a major challenge with Kudra, their AI data extraction platform. Potential clients found the platform overly technical, and this resulted in a seriously negative adoption rate for the product.
Incorporating a similar but different UI I managed to successfully turn the tides in Kudra's favor through a strategic redesign.

Simplifying AI Data Extraction Through Strategic Redesign
I stepped in to simplify workflows, redesign the extraction results interface, introduced an extraction based platform and reimagine how users could train their own models based on their extractions. This shift in strategy made the platform more user-friendly and aligned it with client needs, resulting in a boom in subscriptions and a very successful product relaunch.
ubiAI and Kudra were surely a challange, abstracting a highly technical product(s) isn't easy — but it sure is fun.
2022 — 2023
My journey at GoMyCode started in 2022, Oussama GoMyCode's CTO reached out to have me enhance the learning experience for over +300K students, 200+ instructors, and managers across the african continent. My role was to improve the user journey on the platform, from certificate sharing features to launching a referral program that would help GoMyCode go viral within students internal communities.
One of the biggest challenges I tackled was reducing the dropout rate, mainly for students nearing the end of their courses.

PracticeBox : a Gamified Learning Experience
By focusing on creating a seamless, fun, and engaging digital experience, we were able to reduce student dropout rate.
I was also fun to work on impactful features and quality of life enhancements to the platform and the product overall, like instructors platform, online hackerspace, ops platform and many more..
My role at GoMyCode goes beyond product design, acting as a lead designer I had to shape the design process and build a team of junior designers that can work independently, helping designers build products in a way that brings positive impact for the business, and maintain a design system that can scale.
2020 — 2022
In 2020, I became part of VERMEG's Digital Product Design team, where I took on the challenge of building and maintaining the Prestige Design System.

This system was designed to speed up production across the company while ensuring that it could adapt to each client’s unique visual language.
I also led design workshops to identify problems and solutions in collaboration with engineering and design team.

2018 — 2019
My journey with Dabchy began in 2018, back when the team was just a tight-knit group of 8 fun, passionate people. It was an exciting time filled with creative energy and big ideas, where everyone wore multiple hats and collaborated closely to bring the platform to life.

Working alongside such a dynamic group made the experience all the more enjoyable as we built the #1 Shopping App in Tunisia together.

I worked closely with Ghazi, Dabchy’s CPO to redesign the platform and improve the user experience. A few years later, Ghazi reached out again to help relaunch the app in Egypt.

This time, my focus was on streamlining the experience, introducing localization, and stripping away unnecessary features to align with the needs of the new market.

Localization and Streamlining a Social E-Commerce App
The Egyptian launch was a big success, and in 2024, Ghazi approached me once more to unify the design for both the Egyptian and Tunisian markets, bringing together all the features that made the app popular with Egyptian users.
